Biography: Liang Li, Dean of School of Physical Science and Technology, Director of Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Frontier Material Physics and Devices, Soochow University, China. National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars. Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). Research directions are photoelectronic conversion devices. Published over 300 SCI papers with a citation of 26000 times and H-factor of 86. Authorized 25 invention patents and edited 1 English book. Prof. Yang Bai
University of Science and Technology Beijing, China

 

Biography: Yang Bai, Professor, Institute for Advanced Materials and Technology, University of Science and Technology Beijing, National Natural Science Foundation of China for Distinguished Young Scholars. His main research interests are materials genetic engineering, metamaterials for multiple physical fields, ferroelectric ceramics, etc. He serves as PI for 1 project from National Key Research and Development Program of China and 8 projects from National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 200 SCI-indexed papers, published 5 academic monographs in English/Chinese, and obtained more than 10 national authorized patents. He won 1 first prize and 1 second prize of natural science of the Ministry of Education, and won the 13th Youth Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Ceramic Society. He is the executive director of the Chinese Society of Metamaterials, and a director of the Chinese Advanced Ceramics Society, etc. He also serves as the associate editor of Journal of Advanced Ceramics, and the editorial board of 4 English SCI journals and 2 Chinese journals.

 

 

Prof. Shimou Chen
Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China

 

Biography: Shimou Chen is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, he is mainly engaged in research on key materials and device integration for lithium-ion batteries, solid-state batteries, and zinc ion batteries, etc. Prof. Chen has published more than 160 SCI papers in J Am. Chem. Soc.; Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.; Adv. Mater. and other SCI journals, authorized over 33 national invention patents. He was supported by the National Natural Science Funds for Excellent Youth Scientists in 2019, selected as Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) in 2023, and supported by the National Natural Science Funds for Distinguished Youth Scientists in 2024.

 

 

Prof. Shuyan Gao
Henan Normal University, China

 

Biography: Shuyan Gao, doctoral supervisor, currently serves as the dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Henan Normal University, China. Her main research interest is on the design and construction of green energy nanomaterials, as well as the research work in the field of electrocatalytic electrode materials. She was rated as a selected for the National Major Talent Project and a candidate for the National Multi-Million Talent Project. She was awarded Outstanding Achievement for the Institution of Higher Education (Second Prize). Additionally, she holds the position of Special Professor at Hokkaido University in Japan. She also holds editorial board memberships for SCI source journals such as Science Bulletin and Nanoenergy Advances. In terms of research projects, she has successfully led 6 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation. She has published over 100 papers in international high-level SCI source journals like Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Energy Environ. Sci., etc., including 24 highly cited papers according to ESI, accumulating more than 10,000 citations overall. Furthermore, she was listed as a “Highly Cited Researchers” by Clarivate Analytics in 2022.

 

 

Prof. Wei Tian
Soochow University, China

 

Biography: Wei Tian is a professor at the School of Physical Science and Technology, Soochow University. He is the winner of the National Science Fund for Excellent Youth and the Jiangsu Provincial Outstanding Youth Fund. He mainly engages in the research of photoelectric detection materials and devices. He has published more than 110 SCI papers, including more than 70 papers as the first author and corresponding author, including well-known journals in the field of materials such as Advanced Materials. His papers have been cited more than 8,000 times, with an H-factor of 52. He has 12 authorized invention patents. He Hosted 5 National Natural Science Foundation projects, including key joint fund projects, outstanding youth projects, general projects and youth funds, as well as 4 provincial and ministerial level projects. He serves as a young editorial board member of InfoMat, EcoEnergy, Microstructures and other journals, and a guest editor of Materials journal. He won the first prize of the Basic Research Award of the Chinese Materials Research Society and other awards.

 

 

Prof. Zhiguo Xia
South China University of Technology, China

 

Biography: Zhiguo Xia is a professor at the state key laboratory of luminescent materials and devices, and academic board of South China University of Technology. He serves as commissioner in the Chinese Society of Rare Earths, and Secretary-General in the luminescent division of the Chinese Society of Particuology. Prof. Xia is also now an Associate Editor of J. Mater. Chem. C, and editor of J. Lumin.. and he is mainly engaged in research on inorganic luminescent materials. Prof. Xia has published more than 200 SCI papers in Nat. Photon., Nat. Commun. And Adv. Mater.. He was selected as Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and Highly Cited Researchers by Clarivate. He was supported by the National Natural Science Funds for Excellent Youth Scientists in 2017, and supported by the National Natural Science Funds for Distinguished Youth Scientists in 2024.
